Consul of the Republic of Benin visits Industry in Rio Grande do Sul.

The Consul of Benin, His Excellency Mr. Cesar Augusto Maia, visited the headquarters of Biotechnos to see closely the running plants and the projects that are being developed. The visited Company seeks to validate a model that combines sustainability and environmental education through the processing of waste cooking oils into products that can be used in productive sectors such as: BIO-DIESEL. The work of Biotechnos is having a great repercussion in Brazil and abroad, what led to the visit of the Consul of Benin, as there will be built a plant of this Industry in South Africa. The project combines sustainability concepts and environmental responsibility, in addition of being socially fair, which will give to Brazil visibility in sectors of innovation during the Football World Cup 2010. The great interest in this model is having in low-cost plants the conditions to product bio-fuels for automobiles in addition to reducing the pollution resulting from the oil rejection and the reduction by 60% emission of polluting gases when mixed in diesel engines.
