As traditionally happens every year, on last May, 12th, at 10:30 a.m., at the National Monument for the Dead on World War II, situated at Aterro do Flamengo, in Rio de Janeiro - RJ, took place the commemoration ceremony of the “Victory Day”. This year, the festivity had a special importance for its double finality, as also took place, at the same day and place, the opening of the 65th General Assembly of the International Military Sport Council – CISM that counted with the expressive participation of delegations from around 80 friend countries. Given the magnitude of the event and aiming to give the greatest shining to it, invitations were sent to all Diplomatic Representations accredited in our country. Many authorities and the great command of the Armed Forces of Brazil, with special highlight on General Enzo, Brigadier Juniti Saito and Admiral Julio Soares de Moura Neto and diplomats as Excellency Dr. Cesar Augusto Maia, representing the Republic of Benin, took part on this ritual.
